The idea was born out of that Energinet.dk two years ago were offered a surveillance solution based on AIS technology. But engineer, Henrik Roland Hansen, who is employed by Energinet.dk, it seemed that the system was too expensive.
He started programming AIS software which he accidentally presented to NKT Cables. NKT were known to fibervibrationsudstyr and it did not take long before Henrik Roland Hansen got the idea to combine the two technologies in one system.
This led to a collaboration between Henry Roland Hansen and engineers Lars Højsgaard and Dirk Maiwald from NKT Cables, which so far has been for a patent on the idea. Replaces tedious debugging
