Guava nectar (Water Rose Apple) expedited from Thailand, brought prohibited (Absolute Prohibition) into Malaysia, either expedited through cargo, baggage, mail or courier. The purpose of the prohibition is to prevent the entry of pests that can affect the fruit industry of State. If the violation of this rule, action may be taken under the Plant Quarantine Act 1976. Monitoring expedited and inspection of the MAQIS will be enhanced in the gates in this country
Fruit Flies (Bactrocera spp.) Is one of the main enemies in pink honey crop because it damages the fruit by injecting eggs into larvae in the fruit. Fruit damaged by larvae will quickly rot and fall to the ground quickly.
