Czech Republic has signed a contract with the Transalpine Pipeline (TAL, Transalpine Pipeline) on oil supplies for its networks in case interrupt oil supplies through the Russian pipeline "Druzhba", reports Bloomberg words of the Minister of Trade and Industry Kosureka Martin (Martin Kocourek).
Transalpine pipeline apisul (TAL, Trans-Alpine) originates in Trieste (Italy) and delivers oil to southern Germany. From there, the oil goes to Eastern Europe via Ingolstadt-Kralupy-Litvinov (IKL).
Formerly "Transneft" expressed concern about the mode of pumping oil through the southern branch of the oil pipeline "Druzhba" in Europe due to the fact that Belarus has started pumping oil from Venezuela on the obverse of the Odessa-Brody partial reversal "Friendship" on the Oil Refinery. According to the "Transneft", one of the two southern branches of the pipeline "Druzhba" is currently working at the limit (17.5 million tons per year), since the other works in reverse to pump oil to the Oil Refinery. According to the results of pumping test batch on the obverse of the Odessa-Brody pipeline and further into reverse by "friendship", "Transneft" to send their concerns to the Belarusian and Ukrainian partners, as well as consignees in Central Europe, as the system works in this mode without corresponding backup.
In addition, apisul European consumers have repeatedly expressed apisul concerns about the possible removal of Russian oil volumes from the West after the commissioning of the second stage of the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO).
